Semi-Permanent makeup, also known as micropigmentation, is a revolutionary method of inserting small amounts of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin in order to give you the appearance and look you desire. The advantages are many: you can get beautiful eyebrows that last, eyeliner that doesn’t need to be applied daily, and lips that look perfect all the time. But in addition of looking beautiful all day, every day, you also save in time, money and daily frustrations!
Do you care about your look on a daily basis?
Do you use the gym or swimming pool regularly?
Do you have little or no hair due to over plucking?
Do you pencil eyebrows, lips and eye liner regularly?
Do you have alopecia?
Do you want to save time, money and daily frustrations?
If you’ve answered yes to one of these questions then semi-permanent makeup is your solution!
We know deciding to get semi-permanent makeup is a big decision and we take the process very seriously.
Step 1: Initial free consultation
Your semi-permanent journey will start with a FREE non-committing personal consultation and brief medical history to make sure semi-permanent makeup is suitable for you. Joanne will answer any questions and discuss any concerns you may have. She will then show you different designs, ideas and help you to decide the right shape, tone and colour for your treatment. Please be aware a £50 non-refundable deposit is required for all semi-permanent cosmetic treatments*.
Step 2: Semi-permanent treatment
If you decide to proceed. Joanne will personally perform your treatment in the relaxed surroundings of her fully licensed and equipped salon. To minimise any discomfort, a topical anaesthetic will be applied to the treated area 30 minutes prior to your appointment. Post treatment you will receive full aftercare advice.
Step 3: Retouch appointment
You will get a retouch appointment 4 to 6 weeks from the initial procedure to check the shape and colour of the treated area and take care of any adjustments.
All treatments last between 12 and 18 months depending on skin type.
If it has been more than 18 months since your treatment, then the full price will be charged. Otherwise, the colour boost will vary depending on how long it’s been:
Up to 6 months, you will be charged £89.50
Between 6-12 months, you will be charged £149.50
Between 12-18 months, you will be charged £199.50
The most commonly asked question is about the level of pain experienced from using a tattoo needle. The truth is, everyone has different tolerance to pain. To reduce most of, if not all, of the pain, numbing cream is applied directly to the treated area 30 minutes before.
Yes. In order to determine whether a specific substance causes allergic inflammation of your skin, a patch test is required 48 hours prior to your appointment. There is no cost for this.
Unfortunately you cannot.
Due to very high demand, a £50.00 non-refundable deposit is required when booking all semi-permanent cosmetic treatments. Treatment appointments can be re-booked only in exceptional circumstances. We do not allow the transfer of deposits to payments of alternative treatments.
